1. Professional Disclaimer
ICODE Hip Ultrasound Calculator is intended for use only by healthcare professionals. Healthcare professionals who use this application do so at their own risk and must exercise their own independent clinical judgment. The information provided by this app is for educational and supportive purposes and should not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
While we strive to conform to the standards of professional practice (such as the Graf method), medical information changes rapidly. Users should consult a variety of sources and clinical guidelines.
2. Disclosure of Data Access and Usage
To provide clinical calculations, the App accesses the following data points entered by the user:
-
Health & Physical Information: Infant Date of Birth, Date of Examination, Alpha Angle, and Beta Angle.
-
Clinical Indicators: Anatomical Identification status, Usability Check status, and Prematurity status.
Usage: This data is used solely for the purpose of performing a real-time, on-device calculation of the hip ultrasound grade. This data is processed locally and is never used for advertising, tracking, or any other secondary purpose.
3. Data Collection and Transfer
-
No Collection: The App does not collect, harvest, or scrape any personal or health data.
-
No Storage: Data entered into the input fields is stored only in temporary, volatile memory (RAM) while the App is active.
-
No Third-Party Sharing: Neither the input data nor the calculated results are transmitted to our servers or shared with any third parties.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
The App adheres to a strict zero-retention policy:
-
How Data is Deleted: All user-entered data and calculated results are automatically and permanently deleted from the device’s volatile memory as soon as the calculation is cleared or the application session is closed.
-
User Rights: Because no data is stored on our servers or the local device storage, there is no “stored” data for a user to request the deletion of. The data “dies” with the session.
5. Limitation of Liability
We do not accept any responsibility for adverse effects associated with the application of therapy based on the use of this calculator. We do not assume any liability or responsibility for damage or injury arising from the use of ICODE Hip Ultrasound Calculator. By using this App, you agree to these terms.
