Section 1: Membership
- Any individual seeking membership of the organization shall file a written application either to the National Sub-Committee of the country of residence, or to the ICODE International Board.
- Election to Membership shall be done by a simple majority of the Members of the National Sub-Committee, or of the International Board, provided that Membership rules and prerequisites are fulfilled
- Full Members: To apply for Full Membership, an individual should fulfill the following requirements: (i) have applied for full membership, (ii) carry a recommendation from a member of ICODE, (iii) have attended at least two ICODE approved training courses, (iv) demonstrate competence in hip sonography or have significantly contributed to the aims of ICODE. Only Full Members are eligible to vote, both at a national and an international level.
- Associate Members: To apply for Associate Membership, an individual should meet the following requirements: (i) have applied for membership, (ii) carry a recommendation from a member of ICODE, (iii) have attended one ICODE approved training course. Associate Members are not eligible to vote, they may, however, if the wish, attend the annual Council Meeting. An Associate Member, may apply for Full Membership, when the requirements of (c) are fulfilled.
