Through training, research, and international collaboration, we seek to improve the quality of care in orthopedic health, ensuring optimal health development for patients and reducing complications associated with this condition.
Vision of ICODE
The vision of ICODE is to be the leading organization internationally in teaching and disseminating the Graf Method, establishing standards of excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of hip dysplasia. We aim to create a future where all healthcare professionals have the necessary tools to timely identify and treat this condition, contributing to a world where children’s orthopedic health is recognized and prioritized in all communities.
History of the Creation of ICODE
The International Association ICODE was founded in 2019, inspired by the work and legacy of Professor Graf, who developed an innovative method for the early diagnosis of hip dysplasia. Supported by his disciples, a group of professionals committed to child health, they united with the goal of establishing a platform to facilitate the training of healthcare personnel in this critical area.
Since its inception, ICODE has worked intensively to consolidate a collaborative network among specialists and hospitals from various regions, fostering research and the exchange of knowledge surrounding the Graf Method. In its early years, the association focused on creating training programs and practical workshops, as well as conducting conferences and seminars that have attracted healthcare professionals from multiple disciplines.
Thanks to the collective efforts of its members, ICODE has positively impacted the health of thousands of patients, establishing itself as a reference source in the prevention and treatment of hip dysplasia globally. Looking toward the future, the association is committed to continuing to expand its horizons, adapting to the changing needs of the healthcare sector, and promoting continuous education as an essential tool for improving medical care.
